Return the drone immediately and land in a safe nearby area. Set a low battery return-to-home (RTH) threshold in advance to reserve enough power for emergencies like flying against the wind.
Drone batteries should be carried in hand luggage, not checked in. Avoid impact or pressure on the battery. For long trips, reduce the battery charge to about 30%, store in insulated, fireproof containers, and keep away from metal objects.
